Is this the right tour for you?
This Luxor day trip from Cairo by flight is for travellers based in Cairo with a single day to give to ancient Thebes. You are collected from your hotel early, as early as 4 am depending on the flight, and flown to Luxor, where your guide meets you on arrival.
The day covers both banks. On the West Bank you visit the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon and the terraced temple of Hatshepsut. After lunch at a local restaurant, included, you cross the Nile to Karnak, a temple complex built and extended by some 30 pharaohs over about 1,300 years, and finish at Luxor Temple before your evening flight back to Cairo.
The return flights, transfers, guide, entrance fees and lunch are all in the price. The return time depends on that day's domestic flight schedule.
It is a long day, and it is honest to say so: flying protects your time on site, but it cannot make a day longer. If your plans allow even one night in Luxor, stay: the West Bank is best in the early morning, and that needs you to wake up there.

The best way to see Luxor from Cairo in one day, and still a long day. One night in Luxor is better.
Consider instead: Add a night: fly down, take the East and West Bank tour, and see the West Bank at 8 am.
