The story

Egypt's kite centres are licensed through CDWS, and since November 2025 activities must happen at the approved location of the licensed centre. Our kitesurfing guide compares five places and lists the questions to ask a school.

What happens

  2. Learn kite control on the beach, then body-drag in the water.
  3. Work towards the water start, at the pace the wind allows.
  4. Finish with a record of the level you reached.
