This boat day from Hurghada heads north to Shaab El Erg, the horseshoe-shaped reef known as Dolphin House, where spinner dolphins often rest in the sheltered lagoon. Seeing them is likely but never promised: they are wild and come and go.

The better operators follow a code of conduct: no chasing, no touching, quiet entries and engines off near the dolphins. We book only boats that keep to it. The day adds snorkelling stops on nearby reefs, with lunch on board.
