  • Private guide & driver. Best for families, deeper questions and flexible pacing. Higher cost, but the clearest control over timing and stops.
  • Multi-day itineraries. Best for first visits combining Cairo and Upper Egypt. Domestic flights cost more but can protect meaningful time at the places you came to see.
  • Snorkelling & diving. Best for reef days from Hurghada or Sharm. Ask about equipment, marine fees, boat capacity and actual water time.

    Cover shoulders and knees for mosques and churches, and bring a scarf. Sun protection and water matter most at Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel.
