The story
Raquda Foundation documented Alexandria's El-Medan and El-Halaqa fish markets before demolition. Their record is a reason to ask where trading happens now, rather than promise a market from an old itinerary.
Our proposed morning follows buying and cooking as one story. A working market is a place of business: we ask before photographing people and keep clear of the trade.
